No. You can tap Continue without signing in and everything stays on your device. Sign in later if you want cloud backup, family sharing or multi‑device sync — your local data comes with you.
Does it work with my Home Care Package or NDIS plan?
Absolutely — MyCareFunds is built for Australian self‑managed Home Care Packages and self‑managed NDIS plans. Set your total budget, your period dates, and categorise expenses to match how your provider reports.
Can my family see my budget?
If you invite them. Household sharing lets you add family members as editors (full access) or viewers (read‑only). They sign in with their own Google account — no passwords shared.
What if I lose my phone?
If you're signed in, your data is already safely backed up. Install MyCareFunds on your new device, sign in again, and everything is exactly where you left it — contracts, statements and all.
Can I use it on desktop?
Yes — the web portal runs in any modern browser, and you can even install it as a PWA. The same household, the same data, a bigger keyboard.
Is there a cost?
MyCareFunds is free to download and use for the essentials. If we introduce paid plans in the future, the core budget‑tracking experience will stay free forever.
How do I import my provider's statements?
Upload the monthly PDF and our built‑in OCR pulls out the line items so you can match them against your tracked expenses. Mismatches are flagged so nothing slips through.
